Visitor Information

Hours: The museum is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. all year; (Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sundays 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. March through December). The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Rates: Admission to the museum is $4 for adults; $3 for senior citizens over 60 and AAA members; and $1 for children ages 6 to 16. There is no admission fee for museum members, Orange County school children, and children under 6.

Once again the James Madison Museum is participating in the Time Travelers program for students. For more information on this wonderful program visit their website. All Time Traveler students will be eligible for a 50 cent admission price to the museum.

Group Tours: Tours are self guided and available for groups of all ages at special rates. Please call the Museum at (540) 672-1776 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for additional information.
