These wonderful people are publishing the letters and other writings of James Madison.

The Internet Public Library's POTUS (Presidents of the United States) Site. This is a wonderful source of information.  The only point to question is their listing of Madison's occupation as "lawyer." His occupation is probably better described as Planter/Politician. Madison never practiced law and did not receive training in it.
